While weve given our in-depth impressions from our visit to Nintendo HQ last week (and a review will be up for the weekend), having the final version, its clear that this game has come a long way in a short time. While the game still remains as fun, and the core gameplay hasnt changed, a lot of nice finishing touches pushes it over the top. The dancing that the enemies did with the music from the DS version? Thats in there thankfully; theres nothing more satisfying then chomping on a Goomba mid dance.
The first two videos below show a couple of levels from early on in the game (World 1 and 2) and the second video shows off the coin battle mode, which is a lot of fun. The homage to the original arcade Mario Bros is a a welcome addition. Be warned, we were playing this on a capture device about 400 pixels wide, so if we suck you know why.
