Super Smash Bros. Brawl director Masahiro Sakurai made an appearance at last week’s Tokyo Game Show as part of a talk event hosted by Metal Gear Solid producer, Hideo Kojima. Brawl was only bought up once, with Sakurai assuring the audience that the development of the game is going along smoothly.

More Inside Not much was revealed at the appearance, but later in an interview with Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, Sakurai commented that features used on the Wiimote will not be used for normal game play in Brawl. So what does this mean you may ask? It means that there may be the possibility that Brawl may utilize the Wiimote for some things, but for the bulk of the fighting, there will be another control method used.
