New Sega 3D Classics heading west in 2015
The 3D Classics range might have been forgotten by Nintendo but Sega have been churning out the Classics continuously since 2013, now their second batch of games which have already been released in Japan will be making their way to the west next year. That’s America, Australia and Europe!
The first game to be released in ‘early 2015’ will be 3D After Burner II. After that another game will release each month and these titles include; 3D Fantasy Zone, 3D OutRun, 3D Fantasy Zone II and 3D Thunder Blade. The titles till be around $6AU each and of course only on the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
The Sega 3D Classics range is developed by the porting gods at M2. These guys know how to get older games to work perfectly and enhance the experience with customisable controls, options and more.
About bloody time. I’ve been holding out for a portable version of Outrun for over a decade now. I would have bought Sega Arcade Gallery for my DS back in the day if the geniuses at SEGA bothered to release it in Australia.
Gee I’d be tempted to buy every one of these classics.
