Capcom release some screens and artwork for both Resident Evil: Mercenaries and Resident Evil: Revelations

Two of our most anticipated 3DS games are the two Resident Evil titles announced for the system: Revelations and Mercenaries. RE: Revelations is set to be an entirely new entry in the Resident Evil canon, starring Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, that takes gamers back to the original slow-paced horror of the original Resident Evil games. Resident Evil: Mercenaries, on the other hand, is a 3DS port of the Mercenaries mode that you unlock upon completion of the storyline in almost every Resident Evil game. Its set to be the complete antithesis of Revelations focusing more on fast-paced finger-to-the-trigger zombie killing action, while having pretty much no plot whatsoever.

Capcom Unity have been kind enough to post a bunch of screenshots and artwork of both games on their blog. Below are some of the screenshots, head on over to their Capcom Unity blog to check out the artwork and screens in their entirety.

Neither Resident Evil games have a release date, but its suspected that Mercenaries will be the first one to be released as reports have come in that it is 70% complete, partly due to the fact that the dev team dont have any story sequences to worry about.
