The prince is back from the future for an all-new adventure, and we have new details on his Wii outing

Set a few months after the events of Sands of Time and before The Two Thrones, The Forgotten Sands will see the prince pay a visit to his brother Maliks kingdom, only to find the Royal Palace overrun by a pack of evil Indian zombies.

Below is a rundown of features of the game on Wii.

· The Wii version is build from the ground up.

· The prince will be accompanied by Razia, who will control a number of elements and magical abilities.

· Various powers can be earned, such as Rewind (to manipulate time), Fire (to use heated attacks), Air (to reach platforms with gusts and shove enemies around), Earth (to gain access to new areas by repairing parts of the world) and Water (to freeze it).

· Combat controls involve the Wii Remote for swinging your sword and the Nunchuk for melee attacks. Buttons will be mapped for everything else e.g. blocking, rolling.

· Super Mario Galaxy-style co-op will be available.

· When about to jump over a platform, faint blue lines will indicate whether or not the prince can make the jump. To counter this assistance in gameplay, you can no longer rewind time if you make a mistake.

· An object known as the Sand Ring can be activated by pointing at a wall and pressing the B-button. It will give the prince a hand-hold on any wall, but can only be used once at a time.

· The game will run at 60 FPS.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is due out in May.
