New Pokmon Black/White details come through
You can be certain that the new games will signify a total overhaul for the franchise
As expected, the latest issue of Japanese manga magazine Coro Coro has revealed some exciting new info about the next generation of Pokémon games.
On the graphics front, battle screens will be as intense as ever, with more special effects and animations including dynamic camera angles and more realistic shadows. We know the games will be getting 3D graphics.
Expect cities and towns to be more realistic, too, as there will be more high-rise buildings as well as elevated terrain for you to travel on. Also portrayed in new screens are what looks like the Westfield of the Pokémon world – a one-stop shop that merges the facilities of a Pokémon Center, Poké Mart and Global Terminal under one roof.
A Pokémon Company representative assures that the new story, environments and Pokémon "will allow both old fans and people who havent played the other games to enjoy the [Pokémon] experience without preconceptions".
Pokémon Black and White have a tentative Spring release in Japan, and we expect it soon afterwards.
