New Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon trailer shows off a changed Alola region

Hold onto your Pokéballs, because it’s time for more Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon news.

To celebrate the 2017 Pokémon World Championships, The Pokémon Company has released a new trailer for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, showing off a couple new features, including what might to be a follower system. It’s unclear if this entirely the case, but the trailer certainly looks like it shows a Rockruff following the player character. Eagle-eyed viewers will also notice in the trailer that the previously vacant lot in Hau’oli City has been replaced with an interesting and colourful building adorned with stars. We’re not quite sure what this building is, but there’s no doubt we’ll find out soon.

The trailer promises a changed Alola region, and shows an ominous dark portal above the region’s westernmost island. As always, we’ll bring you any more news as it comes.
