New Nintendo trademarks – a hint at whats to come?

In this dry lull of news people go to extremes and start looking at trademark offices for the latest trademarks from gaming companies. Today someone looked up what Nintendo Japan has submitted recently and there is a few little gems that may or may not mean much but they are still interesting never the less. First off is what seems to be a new name for the Check Mii Out channel more boringly named “”Mii Contest Channel””. More Inside Next one is Nintendo Magic, the western name for Magic Taizen, a magician simulation game for the Nintendo DS released last year. It failed to set the charts on fire over there but perhaps could do well here. Back to Wii now and next is the Wii Body Controller perhaps the final name for the Wii Balance Board. Next is what seems to be another Channel in Mii Audition. Wii Handle is the next one and some people are thinking a possible online Gamertag equivalent, but for all we know it could be a new handle like the Gamecube had. Everyone loved that right?

Finally are two for games, Pikmin which is just a renewal of the ownership of it, and Soma Bringer is the mysterious one. Perhaps we will learn about some of these at tomorrows meeting?
