New Nintendo 3DS games join the Selects range in Australia
Earlier this week we reported on some brand new Nintendo 3DS games being added the range in Europe.
They were The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros, New Style Boutique, Super Mario Sticker Star and LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins.
Well today we can report that we are getting some new Nintendo 3DS Selects here in Australia – but not these ones. We’re getting the ones Europe got in October last year and they are;
Yoshi’s New Island, Mario Tennis Open, Mario Party: Island Tour, Star Fox 64 3D and all three variants of Nintendogs + Cats. For some reason we’re not worthy of getting ‘A Link Between Worlds’ in our range.
Retailer EB Games has the games listed now for release on May 26th 2016 for $29.95. Take a look here.
This is flat-out pathetic.
To miss out on Link Between Worlds is one thing, but to be ignored and not receive the newer titles added to the Selects Range is a slap in the face. Each of the titles in the newer EU range are twice the games the ones we are lumped with getting.
It smacks of us being in the market we are, though. Can’t quite blame EggBert for this.
We don’t actually know if we won’t be getting the New Nintendo selects yet, Nintendo Australia is just slow with things…
^ THIS GUY IS TRYING TO BE A VOICE OF REASON! KILL HIM!!
Given how easy it is to import from the UK (from various sites), it’s hard to get too upset about this.
