New Mega Evolutions, Gear and a new way to Fly revealed for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire
The Pokémon Company has officially announced all of the Pokemon news from last week’s CoroCoro magazine and more. Not only that we have a new trailer and proper screenshots to check out now.
Mega Latios or Mega Latias are the stars of this update is their new Soar ability which takes you above the clouds and you can actually ‘Fly’ somewhere. Not only that you can do tricks and turns up in the air, you’ve never seen Hoenn like this before. Hidden up in the sky is also rare Pokemon and items, check the trailer for some familiar faces.
Mega Latios or Mega Latias will only be available with a visit to the Hoenn region’s Southern Islands. You’ll get there through an Eon Ticket, something that will be released later in the year. Earlier in the week reported two new Mega Evolutions in the form of Mega Beedrill and Pigeot, now Mega Steelix and Mega Glalie hav been announced as well. Steelix has now got quite a big chin.
The PokeNav also gets an update, now called the PokeNav Plus this tool was seen in the original games but has had some extra features added to it and some borrowed from Pokemon X and Y.
The DexNav is new and find hidden and specific types of Pokemon in grass, The AreaNav adds an interactive map to the bottom screen, something we missed sorely in Pokemon X and Y. You can also get the latest on players you’ve passed with the BuzzNav.
The Player Search System (PSS), Pokemon-Aimé and Super Training are also all back from Pokemon X and Y in the PokeNav Plus.
Looks like the US and UK have also received an update on their ORAS demo codes – US getting them from after the 20th this month, and the UK is getting them available from several locations including pre-order emails, Nintendo Life and Comic-Con London, starting from today.
