New Kanto region event kicks off in Pokémon Go

Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, double candy and more.

No rest for Pokémon Go players with the next event kicking off… well right now. A Kanto themed event has started this morning thanks to the appearance of Mew.

Until April 17th the following events and changes will be in the game

The original starters Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle will appear more frequently in the game, Pikachu will also see boosted spawns.
Aerodactyl and Snorlax will appear in Raid Battles
Catches, hatche, and transfers will earn double candy for all Pokémon
Special boxes with raid passes will be on sale

Don’t forget the Mareep Community event is on this weekend as well, you should have no excuse not to get Amphoros now!
