Nintendo Europes issued a full press release with more details about Jam with the Band

When Nintendo announced "Jam With the Band" was heading out of Japan after all these years, it did so without any details what-so-ever. But now, it has made amends and released a full release with a preliminary track list and an outline of some features.

As suspected, the game will be based on the improved DX sequel Japan got a couple years after the original.

The games’ track list has nearly been completely replaced with Pop songs, but the classic Nintendo tunes from the Japanese version are in there as well. There are also 50 more tracks available on Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to download.

Since it’s also based on the DX version, you can create your own tracks in the song editor with over 50 instruments. You can then upload your tunes to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and share with friends.

There’s also a Wii channel you can download so you can play your tunes through the TV for all to hear. Nintendo Australia is yet to mention the game for local release, but we haven’t even got a date for Mario Galaxy 2 so don’t get too hopeful.

Here is what Nintendo has released of their track list so far;
