Some of you may remember the game MySims game that appeared a while ago, well, the latest issue of the UK Official Nintendo Magazine has released some details about the game.

It sounds a lot like Animal Crossing to be honest, you start off in a small rundown town with a house that has next to nothing in it and few residents in the town and as with Animal Crossing, it is your aim to furnish your house, brighten up the town and get new people to visit there.

More details inside Character design may look simple, but there are a myriad of features you can tweak ranging from skin to clothes and even tattoos.

In the Sims games, you were restricted to your house, if you don’t count the expansion packs that is, but in MySims, you are able to walk around the town meeting people and you have a relationship tab where you can see what the other sims think about you.

Also, gone are the days of purchasing furniture from a catalogue. Instead, they have implemented a block building mechanic which lets you construct your furniture from scratch. House building is also done quite similarly.

There will be an element of the game called “”Essence”” which you can then use to decorate your furniture and objects you’ve created. There are also seeds you can grow flowers to decorate with.

It is also said that there will be a Volcano type area where upset characters go when they end up with a hate for your town. There will be around 80 characters for the Wii version and the DS will feature 30. MySims is slated for an Autumn release, which is roughly some time in Spring for Australia.
