New details on Mario Kart Wii race into view

The upcoming American Nintendo publication NMag is said to feature an in-depth preview on the upcoming Mario Kart title for the Wii. Sliding and snaking will make a return much to the collective groan of a thousand fans (and glee of others). Baby Peach will tag along with Baby Mario and Baby Luigi as well as foe Boo making another appearance. There will be an online battle mode and 32 tracks in all much akin to Mario Kart DS. The controls are fortunately very comparable to Excite Truck and there will be multiple vehicles per character. UPDATE INSIDE
Seems this another magazine just “”speculating””, via Eurogamer;

Nintendo has not announced any further information on Mario Kart. We’ve spoken to the magazine and it’s just pure rumor and speculation on their part.
