Fresh from Famitsu comes new information on TECMO’s up and coming 3D fighter, Dead or Alive: Dimensions. Boasting and artistic direction and graphical fidelity on par with the latest console releases, Dimensions aims to introduce a few new things to the series as well as some elements that will please fans too.
"Chronicles Mode" was revealed in Famitsu recently, and is described as being a story based tutorial mode in which battle techniques are taught to the player while the story o Dead or Alive is also fleshed out. The developers have assured us that there will be some previously unseen scenarios in Dimensions, and that the game will act as an overall recap of the Dead or Alive story so far. Previously unseen characters Fame Douglas and Donovan will also be making appearances in Dimensions.
In terms of gameplay itself, Dimensions also offers a digital command list that allows players to view special moves for each character, and if they want, tapping a command will execute it. Simple, but we’d imagine it’d become cumbersome.
Not ideal.
Finally, some preorder bonuses.
Nearly 1000 games discounted, a lot of them very good.
Sid's back, there's a beefy cat, a phantom hero, and a moon.
