New Breath of the Wild update adds Xenoblade Chronicles 2 quest and Champions amiibo support
During the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Direct, it was revealed that an update would be coming to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that offers a promotional side quest. Now that update is here.
Available to download now, version 1.3.3 will allow players to partake in a quest that, once completed, will give Link a costume just like Rex, the main character in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. In the quest, players will have to travel to three locations at night to spot red shooting stars.
In addition to the Xenoblade quest, version 1.3.3 also adds support for the new Champions amiibo, which are set to launch tomorrow. When these amiibo are tapped, they’ll give a special helm corresponding to the figures’ Champion, which each give a special buff, the details of which you can find at our good friends Mon Amiibo.
There are also a number of bug fixes, though they’ve not yet been detailed in the English patch notes. We’ll bring more info as it comes.

Thanks to BAZO277 on twitter for tipping us off!
I’d rather dress up as Diddy Kong, including no pants :3
Doesn’t seem to exist for the Wii U version :/
