Netflix launches in Australia on March 24th, will be on the Wii U too

Goodbye VPN?

So by now you’ve probably read the news about Netflix launching in Australia on March 24th, finally right?

Well what you might have glossed over is the fact that the app will also be coming to the Wii U (and every other home console). You’ve been able to get the Netflix app here in Australia on your Wii U if you have an UK Nintendo Network ID and used a VPN but this should make things a lot easier.

In other regions there is also a Nintendo 3DS version of the Netflix app, looks like we won’t be getting that one here.

Netflix didn’t announce how much the service would cost or just what we’ll actually end up with here in Australia, hopefully that Zelda TV show is still on the cards.
