The best New Super Mario Bros. Wii players from around the country will descend upon Sydney for the final showdown

The Connection Tour is over for another year, and after hours of matches and hundreds of sore eliminations, the top New Super Mario Bros. Wii players from each state have advanced to the national finals in Sydney.

The Coin Challenge has brought out the very best battles from Nintendo fans at shopping centres all around Australia, and with the cream of the crop now set to go head-to-head tomorrow, the matches will be fiercer than ever.

There will be plenty of cheers and tears as both the Individual and Tag Team champions are crowned. Not only will the champions gain the glory and respect of a nation, each will win an all-expenses-paid trip to the Big Apple, plus $1000 to go on a shopping spree at the Nintendo World Store.

If you happen to live in Sydney, why not come along and support all the finalists, including our very own members Akiyo and ShadowLizard, and make it a day to remember? We have the details below.

NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. WII COIN CHALLENGE – NATIONAL FINAL

When: Wednesday, 28 July, from 11:30am. Grand Final and winners’ presentation from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.
