Not announced: a place to store the two styluses

Exclusively developed for the Nintendo 3DS, DualPenSports will be the first 3DS game to utilise dual stylus gameplay. The game contains seven sports mini-games based on football (soccer), boxing, archery, basketball, baseball, skiing and power gliding. An example of how the two styluses are used can be seen in archery, where one stylus pulls the bow string and the other aims and fires at the target. We’re not sure how the 3DS’s touch screen will respond to the use of two styluses, given that it does not support multi-touch. One would assume that simultaneous input would be limited.

Baseball gameplay

In addition to the sports, there are exercise games to stimulate the brain and improve hand-eye coordination, as well as character customisation options. Local wireless functionality has also been revealed, but how it will be employed has not been said.

DualPenSports will be out some time this year.
