Only took three years for a FPS on the 3DS.

They’ve been teasing it a while, but Renegade Kid have finally taken the wraps off their 3DS first person shooter.

Moon Chronicles will come to the Nintendo 3DS eShop this year, it’s a remake of the Nintendo DS game Moon and will be split up into several episodes over the course of the year. The game follows the story of Major Kane as he attempts to investigate the origins of our moon.

The first ‘season’ of the game will be a remake of the game but Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham told IGN that he hopes a second season will feature brand new content that takes place after this original game. The first episode will be around $8.99US and $1.99US for each of the planned three parts.

The game will have its graphics redone for the added power of the Nintendo 3DS and run at 60 frames per second with the 3D on or off. There will also be Circle Pad Pro support for proper dual analog controls.

The first episode is scheduled to come out around March or April, we just hope we get it here in Australia.
