Monster Hunter X has already shipped 2 million units in Japan

We all know the Japanese love Monster Hunter, so much so you can even smell like Monster Hunter now. But of course we only care about the games and the most recent one, Monster Hunter X has now shipped two million units in Japan.
To compare Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, you know which was pretty awesome too has only just passed four million units – worldwide. To cross two million in the space of not even a week is insane. To clarify this figure includes download sales and download card sales.
Surely Capcom has to localise this one now?

As much as I love the Monster Hunter games, 4 Ultimate just wasn’t as enjoyable for me on 3DS, and I still prefer to play 3 Ultimate on Wii U! I wish they’d stop the 3DS games and keep making them for the Wii U, which I feel is a much better platform for the series!
I agree with SK, I prefer MH on the big screen too. Still, those are impressive numbers but I doubt Capcom will bother localising with 3ds nearing the end of the road. Here’s hoping for an NX port!
