Monster Hunter Rise is getting a “massive” expansion next year

Nintendo and Capcom announced during the Nintendo Direct this morning that Monster Hunter Rise will be getting a “massive” expansion next year, titled Sunbreak. That’s pretty much all we know right now, but the trailer did show off a very cool-looking dragon and some very gothic architecture. More details are planned to be release next week during the Tokyo Games Show.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is scheduled to launch in “Summer” 2022, which’ll be Winter for us down in the Southern Hemisphere. You can watch the teaser trailer below.
