Monster Hunter Generations and special edition New 3DS XL coming this July

It won’t be long monster hunters until you can get your next fix! Nintendo Australia has announced that Monster Hunters Generations will be released in Australia and New Zealand on July 16th for $59.95.

On the same day a special Monster Hunter Generations Edition New 3DS XL will be released, it  features artwork of the game’s Fated Four, an elite group of powerful monsters. It’s $249.95 and does not include the game.

Monster Hunter Generations has a new Prowler game mode which make this the most accessible entry in the series yet. In Prowler mode you control one of the games Felyne characters which allows you to get in on the hunt, but without feeling overwhelmed. Prowlers enjoy simplified mechanics for gathering items and enjoy their own unique attacks and combos,

For those series veterans, fear not the standard ‘Hunter’ mode is there and just as challenging as ever. You’ll be able to sample this before launch too with a demo planned before release.
