Monster Hunter for 3DS and slide pad expansion are real
This weeks Famitsu Magazine to reveal all, apparently
The latest issue of Famitsu has outed the existence of Monster Hunter 3G for the Nintendo and a terrible looking ’grip’ addon for a second circle pad for the right hand side of the console. More on that in this story.
Monster Hunter 3G will be like other G versions of Monster Hunter, an expanded version of Monster Hunter Tri from the Wii. The water elements which made their debut in the Wii version will be passed onto the portable for series for the first time. Touch screen controls for targeting are also included.
Local multiplayer is said to feature, no online modes have been confirmed or mentioned as of yet. The game and the grip addon are set to be out by the end of the year. Both are priced TBA.

Original Story: This is all up in the air at the moment and nothing has been entirely confirmed but it looks like Monster Hunter 3G will revealed for the Nintendo 3DS in the next issue of Famitsu magazine.
The reason it’s not confirmed yet as the magazine isn’t officially out yet, however the mag itself actually leaks early and according to those leaks, this is what’s happening. The slide pad add-on rumour that has also been floating around is also allegedly revealed in the new magazine. The slide pad is said to attach ’next’ to the systems face buttons. We’re hoping for pictures as soon as possible.
The game is said to be Monster Hunter 3G and retain the swimming elements of Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii, local wireless play will also be offered. It’s the first time the Monster Hunter series (which is almost religion like) will have been seen off the PSP.
So if Famitsu have the reveal of Monster Hunter 3G, what’s then left for Nintendo’s conference on the 13th?
We will update this story as more news becomes apparent.
