Monster Hunter Double Cross coming to Nintendo Switch

Almost the minute after the Switch was formally announced, people started asking when was Monster Hunter coming to the platform, since then Capcom have been super coy about their Switch plans, even with the COO of Capcom stating that they will wait and see how Ultra Street Fighter II The Final Challengers does. However today that all changed as Capcom has announced that, in Japan at least, Monster Hunter is coming to Switch with Monster Hunter Double Cross for Nintendo Switch.

Right now all we have is the logo and box art, but more details are expected sometime tomorrow during the Monster Hunter Top Tournament, which is being held in Sapporo, Japan.

Does this mean good things are coming to Switch, with Monster Hunter being a massive series in Japan, one can hope so.

Totally awse, I think I finally have a reason to get a Switch now.

Was so disappointed at the lack of bundles for ARMS and Splatoon 2, probably no local bundle for Monster Hunter XX but my interest in MH far outweighs my desire for a bundle. Especially given there was no localized version of MHXX for 3DS, now it doesn’t matter since the Switch is region free, I can just import away!

    I’m glad I skipped Generations now. 🙂

I’ve been waiting for a decent non-3DS version to arrive, this is truly it I hope.

Sunk enough hours into the last lot of MH games that this will be another, and being that I can play some level of it at work, might be a new fave.
