Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate release date announced, new trailer released

Capcom has revealed the release date for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate in a new launch trailer today. The game will be released in North America on March 19th and in Europe on March 22nd. Considering the game is being published by Nintendo Australia here we should expect a similar date.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is a remixed version of Monster Hunter 3 coming to both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS. With a free app on the 3DS eShop you’ll be able to take your save file on the road as well and then continue the adventure when you get home.

While the Wii U version is able to be played online like the Wii version was, the Nintendo 3DS version is missing this, however voice chat is in for both versions of the game. There will be a demo of the 3DS and the Wii U version made available on February 21st as well.

Which version are you picking up or could you be going for both?

Very cinematic trailer. I’m over-excited for this. Monster Hunter Tri blew me away. Clocked over 200hrs, never online unfortunately. Gladly do it all over again for the extras. I’ll need a Wii U and 3DS copy as my missus loves to hunt herself some big beasties too. Just over 2 months, just enough time to save.

I would love it if they went the way of Sony Smash Bros. buy the Wii U version and get the 3DS version for free…. or even if they done a bundle pack thats cheaper than buying the two games separately
