Looks like complaining on the internet has paid off again. Capcom has announced that an upcoming patch for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will remove the region lock during online multiplayer.

Now European and Australian players will be able to hunt alongside Americans from April.

The patch will also add the ability to play the game entirely on the GamePad with Off-TV play. Yeah they announced a patch before the games release.

In other Monster Hunter related news, the online multiplayer ‘app’ that allows the 3DS version of the game to play online via a Wii U will also be coming to Australia and Europe.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be out in Australia on the 3DS and Wii U on the 23rd of March.
