The Wii Vitality Sensor hasnt had a good run so far but Miyamoto says to believe in Nintendo about it

When the Wii Vitality Sensor was unveiled at E3 it was pretty much panned straight away, some people have given it a second thought and it could be interesting but first impressions stick. Shigeru Miyamoto knows this and has told fans to have confidence in Nintendo and the Wii Vitality sensor.

Speaking to the Mercury News Miyamoto has said “Ideally we would have been able to talk about this in terms of the software implementation rather than just the sensor itself. I don’t have any indication for you (of what we have in the works) other than to say that we have lots of very creative ideas. We understand the challenge before us, and we have met these challenges in the past. We just ask that people have confidence in us.”

As it stands there isn’t much to have confidence in but knowing Nintendo they’ll have something up their sleeves to show off. We’re just yet to see it.
