Could it finally be happening? Minecraft on the Wii U? According to PEGI it is.  PEGI is the European board much like our Australian Classification Board that rates game for release and they’ve just listed Minecraft Wii U Edition on their site.

Here’s the listing as it appears on the site;

Unless this is an error, it will be great to finally have Minecraft on the Wii U – why it hasn’t happened earlier is beyond anyone with a sane mind.

Minecraft is currently available on the the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV, Java phones, Rasberry Pi and even Windows Phone. Yes, the four people who have a Windows Phone can play Minecraft and you haven’t been able to on your Wii U.

There’s a Nintendo Direct planned for later in the week, coincidence?
