Minecraft: Wii U Edition adds keyboard support, voice chat and more

Two steps back, one step forward.

When Minecraft: Wii U Edition was revealed most people were pretty excited for it, yesterday we learned that the game won’t have any inventory management at all on the GamePad. Pretty much everyone dropped it like a rock there and then.

It might not all be bad though, we’ve now learned that the game supports some of less used features of the Wii U, namely voice chat and USB Keyboards.

This support isn’t strange for Minecraft itself, most of the other versions of the game support this too but to see it on a Wii U game (sadly) is rare in 2015. Oh it also supported the Wii U Pro Controller as well, that’s neat.

It’s something?
