Miiverse still on track for 3DS, Smartphone and Web version due May
We’ve known for some time that Miiverse would eventually come to the the 3DS as well as phones and the web, but we’ve never realy known when other than ‘2013’.
Now today at GDC, producer of Miiverse, Kiyoshi Mizuki has revealed during a talk that the smartphone and web version of Miiverse will be available by May and will allow for most basic Miiverse features. That includes, posting comments in text and drawings and of course chatting with your friend.
So what about the Nintendo 3DS version? That’s still coming but doesn’t yet have a date. Mizuki also told attendees that although every Wii U game has a Miiverse community not every 3DS game will.
It’s possible the Nintendo 3DS version is taking longer because you would need to sign into your NNID to use, something the Nintendo 3DS doesn’t yet support.
