Miitopia a turn based RPG with a relationship based battle system
The mysterious Miitopia has finally been fully revealed in a new Nintendo Direct late last night.
As suspected the game is an RPG using Mii characters but is also turn based. You play on a team all with different jobs and abilities. Some of the jobs shown in the Direct included a mate, priest, and thief. So why all the fighting? The Demon Lord has stole everyone’s face and you’re tasked with getting them by defeating monsters with your team.
You won’t just be fighting against other monsters however you will also be fighting amongst your own team members. The relationship between your team is dynamic, you can fight with each other or even fall in love. How your team interacts and behaves with each other dictates how they fight.
Miitopia is out in Japan on December 8th and there isn’t anything too ‘Japanese’ about it that would stop it being translated, however Nintendo branches outside of Japan haven’t even mentioned it once. So if it’s coming, it’ll either be in a while or just dropped on us just like it has for the Japanese.
The game is also compatible with a ton of amiibo as well, when you use the amiibo in the game you can unlock costumes for your Mii to wear.
You can watch the full Nintendo Direct below.
Maybe it will be released at the same time as Devilish Brain Training… lol
If Tomadachi Life got a full western release, surely this will too.
Did you mean a mage, and not a “mate?”
