Miitomo update will add ‘Star Accounts’ and raise style level caps

There’s a new update coming to Miitomo and it’s going to add some new features and of course tweak things a little more. There’s no release date for the one, but it should be out by the end of the month.

The biggest updated is a ‘Star Account’ feature, it probably will never get used by you and I but instead celebrities and Nintendo staff we think. Nintendo says its for ‘notable Mii’ to come visit your room, but it’s only limited to Japan at this stage.

The rest of the changes are below direct from the change log;

• Star Accounts: now, notable Mii can visit your room! You can also follow them and hear their answers! (only if your country is set to Japan)
• Talk about your new at any time when talking with your Mii
• Tap Links in Answers or Comments to open them in a browser
• Popularity Level and Style Level upper limit increased to 30
• Increased service options for sharing and sending invitations (including WhatsApp)
• Switzerland, Mexico, and South Africa have been added as region setting options
• Improved speeds and bug fixes are also planned
