Japan gets it a little earlier, but still in March.
During today’s financial results briefing today Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima has spoken about Miitomo and details regarding its release.
Nintendo’s first smartphone application will launch in March around the world, but it will have a little bit of a staggered release. Japan will get the game ‘mid-March’ while the rest of the will get the application still in March, but a little later. The app will be launched in 8 languages including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Dutch, and Russian.
You’ll be able to ‘pre-register’ for Miitomo on February 17 worldwide on miitomo.com (the site isn’t live just yet), whether that’s just an expression interest or whatever remains to be seen. There’s no way pre-order an application from the App Store.
We’ll let you know where and how to pre-register as soon as we can.
