Metroid: Samus Returns overview trailer shows that Samus is back and better than ever

We needed a bounty hunter, we got a legend.

All aboard the hype train — Samus Aran is back, and she’s got some rad new abilities.

Last night, Nintendo released a new overview trailer for Metroid: Samus Returns, showcasing a tonne of Samus’ new abilities and the dangerous planet SR388. There’s nothing particularly new here, but it sure is nice to see all the new details in one place.

Metroid: Samus Returns for Nintendo 3DS launches at retail and on the eShop on September 16.
