Metroid Prime returns to the 3DS as the Federation Force readies for deployment
In an announcement that’s sure to have sent Metroid fans on an emotional rollercoaster, Nintendo have announced that Next Level Games are developing Metroid Prime: Federation Force for the Nintendo 3DS.
The game is designed around four player co-operative missions that are set within the Metroid Prime universe. Players take the role of presumably unnamed marines as you approach levels together. The game won’t be an open world adventure like most other Metroid Prime games, but instead will be mission based.
Also announced alongside Federation Force was Metroid Prime: Blast Ball. Previously announced earlier in the week, the game is a three versus three arena game where players duke it out in sci-fi flavoured soccer matches. It’s a bit strange and definitely something different.
