Well here’s a surprise!
Metroid Prime: Blast Ball is now available to download on the Nintendo 3DS eShop – entirely free.
Originally to be included in Metroid Prime: Federation Force, Nintendo has instead released the 3-on-3 sci-fi sport game on the eShop.
Metroid Prime: Blast Ball plays very similar to games like Rocket League, but instead of car you’re playing from the first person perspective like Metroid Prime.
The game has full online support, local multiple support and even support for download play – but with the game free, anyone can play!

Looks like an easy way to sell the full game by having a larger audience play the mini game for free. Smart move Nintendo.
