Metroid Other M dated in Japan, Monado gets renamed, The Last Story announced
Along with its financials, Nintendo has updated its release list with Metroid Other M now locked in
Nintendo has updated it’s release list for Japan with a bunch of new games we didn’t know about and a few we did. The biggest of the batch is definitely Metroid: Other M which has been locked in for Summer 2010, so Winter for us. The Japanese website for Other M has also opened and can be found here.
Two other mysterious games also appear on the list, Xenoblade and The Last Story. Xenoblade is a new name for Monado: Beginning of the World which was revealed at the E3 last year and The Last Story is a new RPG collaboration between Mistwalker and Nintendo. Both have 2010 release dates and both are exclusive to Wii. Mistwalker was founded by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the guy who created Final Fantasy.
Cosmic Walker has disappeared off the list but stalwart Kirby for the Wii is still available. Other M and Mario Galaxy remain TBA for other regions and Zelda Wii only appears on the list for Japan at this stage.
