Late last year Capcom announced that all of the Mega Man X games would be coming to the Switch, but gave little more information than that.
Now Capcom has confirmed all the details, including a release date of July 24th. The Nintendo Switch version will be available both physically and digitally at least in the US. However, in classic Capcom style, only the first collection will actually be on the cartridge with the second available with a download code. Both collections separately will be available on the eShop in Europe (and likely Australia, we’ll find out in the morning).
The collection one will have Mega Man X, X2, X3 and X4 and the second one Mega Man X5, X6, X7, and X8. Like other Capcom collections, there will be an art gallery, screen filters and a new mode where you take on all the bosses from each game.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection and 1 and 2 are out on July 24th.
