Mega Man Legacy Collection gets gold amiibo, exclusive to the US

Fire up those import dollars because the only way to get this Limited Edition is to get it from America.

Revealed during this week’s Nintendo Direct, Mega Man Legacy Collection will be getting a Limited Edition version just for America and it contains a gold Megaman amiibo.

Just remember if you did import it, the game wouldn’t work on your Australian 3DS – so you’d have to buy the game all over again here or from Europe. All part of their cunning plan.

Mega Man Legacy Collection launches on Nintendo eShop in Australia only and is out this February.

It contains reproductions of  the first six NES Mega Man games (Mega Man 16), plus new ways to experience these classics with Challenge Mode’s remix stages and Museum Mode’s repository of original production art.

Serious???? What the hell is this rubbish! Way to screw the amiibo fanbase.. (nintendo fanbase in general)

I doubt this is exclusive forever. More a timed exclusive but they will tell us that later. So far no amiibo has been truly exclusive. Sure some regions have slight variations like US only gets ROB, Duck Hunt and G&W in a Triple pack while we get them separately but to date there are been no truely exclusive amiibo. I imagine they are probably still working on the Euro/Aus release details and by exclusive they mean this pack is exclusive not the amiibo itself.

I agree with Shane3x, I reckon we may get the gold megaman soon, perhaps not in a bundle though.
