Mario’s universe has folded in on itself with Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam
A surprising title for the 3DS was announced during the Nintendo Digital Event which mixes together the visual and play styles of two different Mario games, and no I don’t mean Super Mario Maker.
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam brings the world from the Mario & Luigi RPG series and collides it with Paper Mario. At first the idea seems a little out of place but the two game series have quite a lot of similarities with their turn-based gameplay.
It looks like the full level of charm shines through from both styles too. The trailer shows off three characters being controlled at one time: both of the 3D Mario Bros. yet just the Paper Mario. Luigi missing out again…
The two different style Mario Bros. bring with them their own unique abilities to explore the world, solve puzzles and defeat enemies, be it in three dimensions or just two.
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is scheduled for release in 2016. Check out the trailer and stay with Vooks for more information when details arise.
