Mario Tennis coming to the 3DS next year

Update: The first Mario Sports title for 3DS is revealed, now with Video!

Today at the Nintendo 3DS Conference, Nintendo have shown off what will be the first Mario Sports title for the Nintendo 3DS: Mario Tennis 3DS. The game is due out sometime next year and will feature gyroscopic controls. Not much else was shown off, unfortunately, but we did get about thirty seconds of gameplay footage. We’ve included the footage below!

Camelot have been confirmed to be the developer. They are of course the revered developer of the N64 and Gameboy Colour iterations of Mario Tennis are behind Mario Tennis 3DS. More screenshots can be found on the Nintendo Japan website page for the game.
