Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 finally has a release date – November 8 in Europe. Most likely it’ll be the same in Australia too.
Along with the release date Sega has revealed (fully) that there will be 2D events along with the regular old 3D events. These games feature retro Mario and Sonic sprites in Olympic events. The 2D events include;
- 100m
- 10m Diving Platform
- 400m Hurdles
- Judo
- Kayak
- Long Jump
- Marathon
- Shooting
- Vault
- Volleyball
Nintendo has put together a 20-minute long video showing the game in action, including both the 2D and normal 3D events.
