Ubisoft has announced that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is now the best selling, third party game on the Nintendo Switch. Yes despite the fact that it has Mario in it, Mario + Rabbids is indeed a third party game.
The data comes from “NPD US & Canada, NPD Australia, GSD, GFK panels since Switch console’s launch”. That’s missing most of Europe, but there’s probably not much else that would over take it.
Mario + Rabbids also hasn’t been released in Japan yet, that will happen next year in January and Nintendo is taking up publishing responsibilities there (as well as Korea).
Great to see the game doing well, we thought it was great in our review.
