Mario Pikachu crossover merchandise coming to Japan

It’s one of those announcements that make you wonder, why hasn’t this happened earlier?

Pokemon and Mario are crossing over for some themed merchandise. Dubbed Mario Pikachu there’s a wide range of merchandise planned to be released in Japan on October 29th.

There’s shirts, 3DS covers, plushies, playing cards, Pokemon TCG cards and even stationary. If nothing else we’ve got an awesome remake of the original Super Mario Bros artwork features Pikachu and a bunch of Pokemon as well.
