Nintendo has announced that this September is when they will unleash Mario Maker upon the world. It’ll be released as part of the Super Mario Bros. 30th anniversary celebrations which are due this year.
During the Direct there was a brief run down of how the game works and a first look at how the upload and rating system will work. You’ll be able to share your levels with the world.
Nintendo also said they are planning much more than just Mario Maker to help celebrate Mario’s 30th with ‘various activities’ planned.
Who’s looking forward to this one then?

I’m pretty lukewarm on this game. Would rather a sequel to Super Mario Galaxy. or Super Mario World.
Agree Marcus. Give me a sequel to Galaxy any day. This was originally coming first half of this year, but has slid to end of the year…. Worries me they are spacing things out cos there isn’t a lot coming to wii u.
