Mario & Luigi: Dream Team announced for 3DS
News is running hot and fast from the latest Nintendo Direct and one of the most well received announcements of the night (or morning, whatever) is the announcement of Mario & Luigi: Dream Team – an all new Mario & Luigi game exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
Taking place solely in Luigi’s dreams, the game requires players to manipulate Luigi in real life while he sleeps (yes, we realise what this sounds like) in order to manipulate the levels generated by Luigi’s dreams.
Mario is going to star too, but as it’s all set in Luigi’s mind it gives Luigi the chance to dream up a situation where he is the hero.
The details were notably scarce but we did see some footage and many keen fans will notice the resemblance (graphically) to Super Mario RPG, which we think can only mean good things.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team is coming to Nintendo 3DS this year, but we’ve yet to receive a solid date. You can bet we’ll see more of the game come E3.
The game is known in other regions as Mario & Luigi: Dream Adventure. We like Dream Team better.
