Mario Golf: World Tour gets demo, Free Virtual Console title offer
Nintendo Europe has announced that alongside this week’s usual eShop updates there will be a Mario Golf: World Tour demo added to the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
The best news however is that if you’re keen on picking up Mario Golf: World Tour when it launches in early May, you could nab yourself a copy of the Game Boy Color Mario Golf on the Virtual Console for free.
If you buy World Tour before the 29th of May, you’ll be given a download code for Mario Golf (Game Boy Color) and be able to not only play the game for free but also before its official release. Mario Golf (Game Boy Color) won’t be available to purchase until May 29th for everyone else.
Mario Golf: World Tour is out in Europe on May 2nd, so you could possibly have at least three weeks with the Game Boy Color game before it’s released for sale.
Don’t worry Australia, we’re likely to get this promotion as well but we’ll of course check with Nintendo Australia first. The demo none the less will be on our eShop this Thursday night either-way.
Cool offer, shame you can buy the game in store and save a fair bit on RRP/eShop price though. Still nice to see some free offers from Nintendo
