While the Mario and Donkey series hasn’t always been embraced by the masses, it’s still highly respected by Nintendo fans. In the latest Nintendo Direct, a new instalment in the series was announced for the 3DS eShop.

Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move will follow on from Mini-Land Mayhem! (DS), Minis March Again! (DSiWare), March of the Minis (DS) and the original Game Boy Advance title which started it all.

Nintendo has been nice enough to release an official trailer of the game while they decide on a release date. The amount of replay value and level of strategy in Minis on the Move looks to live up to the standards of previous entries in the series. Check it out below.

I’ve been writing about video games since 2006 and playing them since I was a kid. I started out with a copy of Mario & Yoshi on the Game Boy and before I knew it was in debt to Tom Nook. These days I spend much of my time trawling the eShop for the latest downloadable hit.
