Not for the kiddies: gamers will for the first time in Australia have access to the latest consoles and games from a funky bar

The Mana Bar, residing in Brisbanes Fortitude Valley, is the project of some very recognisable members of the Australian games media, including Guy ‘Yug’ Blomberg (AustralianGamer, Game Damage) and Ben ‘Yahtzee’ Croshaw (Zero Punctuation, Game Damage). LCDs adorn the walls of the building, described as having a "stylish geek chic interior," for people to play the range of casual and hardcore games across the current consoles.

Of course, a whole range of game-inspired alcoholic concoctions will be available, so this is just for those 18 and over. The venue will only fit 50 people though, so youd better get in early for some of the planned events like the games launch, trivia nights and more. Entry is free, and there arent any fees for playing any of the games on offer.

Check out its website here for more info.
